what’s going on?

well, some recent life things happened…

i've been working on a couple of web projects! if you couldn't guess, i'm super into the early 00's cute pixel web ~subculture~. it's what i grew up with and am making it my personal mission to catalogue this stuff. i started a curated archive of cute old web graphics, as well as a cute link directory. i'm dipping my toes into php with these projects, which is both fun and hell. (x_x)⌒☆

i also made a capsule on the gemini protocol recently (which you can check out here!). i'm not exactly sure what to do with the space yet, other than having a lil corner on the smoll web. as a visual person i struggle with wanting to engage in text-only sites but it's given me a fun challenge to make a text-only webcomic using some ASCII art!

jade's town (wip) is about a beach-side neighborhood and its squatting residents who remain after a devastating storm and the underlying supernatural elements... oh yeah it's a gay romance story about a demon. ^-^

anyways..

welp, the winter time always makes me gloomy. i've been having a hard time staying focused, which i can blame on a number of things (depression). regardless, i've been meaning to write more so maybe this will be the space for that?
